On 2/3/22 at 22:52 hours, Spring Mill Fire Company No.1 was dispatched for a Vehicle Rescue at the corner of Barren Hill Road and Harts Lane. The initial reports were that there was a 2 vehicle accident and 1 vehicle ran off of the roadway. Upon arrival of the Whitemarsh Township Police Department, they reported that there was 1 vehicle that went into the woods and there were 2 patients trapped inside. Chief 29 was the first arriving fire unit, he established 45 Command, while crews from both Spring Mill Fire Company and Barren Hill Fire Company worked to extricate the 2 patients. It took approximately 20 minutes to make the rescue complete. Both crews did a great job, and the 2 patients were treated and taken to local hospitals.
