11 Special Services

Training

Paid for by the fire company, upon successful completion of each course.

Training is offered by Montgomery County Fire Academy.

Introduction to the Fire Service (required for exterior & interior firefighters)
Hazardous Materials Awareness (required for exterior & interior firefighters)
Fire Ground Support (required for exterior & interior firefighters)
Firefighter I (required for interior firefighters)
Basic Fire Police (required for all fire police officers)
Advanced Fire Police (required for all fire police officers)
Administrative members are not required to take any training classes, however, they will not be able to respond to any emergencies.

There are many more basic and advanced training offered to our members through the Montgomery County Fire Academy and other outside agencies.
