At 02:29 hours this morning, Spring Mill Fire Company No.1 was dispatched with Engine 45 to the 100 block of W. 4th Avenue to assist the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 with a reported dwelling fire. Chief 55 arrived to find a 3-story twin single-family dwelling with smoke and fire showing from the third floor.
First in engine companies had the bulk of the fire knocked down within 15 minutes. Command would place the fire under control within the hour with no reported injuries.
