Engine 45-1 was
purchased new in 1964 at a cost of $29,175.00. In 1992 the donated to
the Mill Rift Fire Company in Northeast Pennsylvania. In 2000, after
being in front line service for 8 years, the Mill Fire Company returned
Engine 45-1 back to the Spring Mill Fire Company where it was restored.
Currently, Engine 45-1 is in service as a reserve pumper, but it is
primarily used for parades and other community events.
